Our custom-built conveyors make short work of the longest hauls.
Innovative drive and braking technology let you take the direct route.
Once installed, our cost-effective systems work harder and longer for less.
Why truck it when you can convey it? Overland conveyors let you move large amounts of bulk materials from source to stockpile or processing plant with minimal operating costs and disruption. Take control of your haulage operation with a proven conveying solution custom-built for your process, product, and environment.
At West River Conveyors, we build industry-leading overland conveyors custom-designed to your needs. Fabricated from heavy-duty steel and quality components, our systems outperform and outlast other conveyor manufacturers.
Overland conveyors offer a reliable way to move large amounts of raw or processed materials over significant distances and challenging terrain. Safer and more sustainable than heavy haul truck fleets, our long-distance, material-handling solutions help mines, bulk processors, and heavy construction projects take the risk and guesswork out of getting material to where it is needed.
Around the world, overland conveyor systems handle a wide range of other raw or partially processed materials, including:
Overland conveyors are fully exposed to the elements like rain, snow, ice, abrasive dust, and extreme temperatures. That’s why we design, engineer, and fabricate all of our own conveyor components, including:
We can build your full conveyor structure or supply additional parts for upgrades or overhauls of existing equipment.
Efficient, safe overland conveyor operation depends on powerful, reliable terminal equipment. We supply all the high-quality control and power components you need to keep your system rolling including:
Where possible, we use common parts and components in terminal equipment to simplify repair, replacement, and retrofits.
Conveyor belts bear the brunt of your material transfer operations and need to be matched to your application and operating conditions. We offer three types of conveyor belts for different types of surface operations:
Critical safety and integration equipment helps prevent accidents and reduces loss and wastage. We provide a full range of overland conveyor accessories, including:
Ask us about unique parts from specialist manufacturers. We can source or retrofit parts for a wide range of units.
Great design is the key to building a conveyor with long life and high reliability. Every overland conveyor system we build will meet the specific needs of your project. Our knowledgeable staff works with you to understand your project details and key equipment deliverables before generating a proposal based on the structural steel and other components your system requires.
Once a purchase order is received, we draft conveyor and pulley drawings and send these to you for approval. From this point, it typically takes 8-14 weeks to build your system, assemble it, and test it at our Virginia facility before shipping it to your site for installation and commissioning.
Need an existing conveyor system upgraded or extended to meet your changing production needs? Our experienced staff will be happy to put together a package that meets your specifications and budget.
