WEST RIVER CONVEYORS & MACHINERY COMPANY NAMES NEW PRESIDENT/CEO

West River Conveyors & Machinery Company, a leading manufacturer of conveyor equipment, today announced that Pete Savage has been named as President and Chief Executive Officer.  Pete has been with West River Conveyors since late 2010 and has served in many roles within the organization.  Pete has been instrumental in new product development and international sales expansion for the company. His efforts to strengthen key business relationships and form strategic alliances has helped position the company for future growth.  Pete said “I am honored to take on this role and lead the company into the future. I am committed to our employees, community and customers as we continue to grow our business.”

Pete came to West River with a wealth of leadership ability having served six years in the US Army Special Forces. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech.
